Valley Falls, Rensselaer County

Mary Elizabeth Film of State Street, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy. She was 88.

Born on February 21, 1924 in Center Brunswick, she is the daughter of the late Walter R. and Olive (St. John) Film, twin sister of Martha L. Film.

She is a member of the Latham Bible Baptist Church, a devout Christian, she loved her church and her Lord.

Survivors in addition to her sister Martha include her siblings, Caroline Edwards of Valley Falls and Frances Fellner of New Windsor, her nephew John (Michele) Edwards of Cohoes and her extended families, the Czub, Lego and Hamilton Families as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her brother Walter Theodore Film.

A memorial service will be conducted at 12:30pm on Sunday, February 10 at the Latham Bible Baptist Church, 495 Watervliet Shaker Road, Latham 12110, with Pastor Dean Walter, officiating.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to her church.
