Pagliaro - Mechanicville, Saratoga County

Theresa "Fanny" Pagliaro Palmer, formerly of Mechanicville, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at the Diamond Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Troy. She was 88.

Born in Mechanicville on February 29, 1924, she is the daughter of Pasqual and Vincenza (Caccea) Pagliaro.

Fanny worked as a waitress for Panza's Restaurant in Saratoga Springs up until the age of 84, a career lasting over 40 years. Fanny was extremely dedicated to her nieces and nephews, she was a fun loving aunt and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her sister, Josephine Arnold of Mechanicville, nephews George Arnold, Jr. of Greenwich, CT, Herbert Arnold of Shushan, Robert Arnold of Agoura Hills, CA., Pat Martone of Mechanicville, Peter Palmer of Clifton Park, Pat Palmer of SC, Stevie Izzo of CT and Joe Riberty of Cohoes, nieces JoAnn Russell, Vivian Gilhaney and Sharon Raymond all of Mechanicville, Maureen Yetto of Cohoes, Patty Berkovitch of CT, Gayle Monast of Cohoes, Evvie Kremick of Ballston Spa and Diane Palmer of Halfmoon and her 4 great nephews.

Relatives and friends may call from 9am to 11am on Friday, January 25 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 319 Park Avenue, Mechanicville. Funeral Mass will be conducted at11:30 at All Saints on the Hudson Church, South Campus. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery.
