Barth G. Smith 51 of Lilac
Lane Troy, died Friday September 4th
at Samaritan Hospital surrounded by his family following a lengthy
illness. Born in Troy NY September 23, 1956 Son of Gordon & Phyllis
Smith.
A graduate of Hoosic
Valley High School,
He was a self employed Handyman and
construction worker. A member of the VFW Post
in Poestenkill, NY.
Survivors in addition to his parents include a
daughter Brittany, a very special friend Gayle
of Melrose,
siblings: Rupert (Lynn) Smith of
Melrose, Charlotte (Don) Spain of Pittstown.
Also survived by several Nieces & Nephews,
Aunts, Uncles, & Cousins.
Predeceased by a brother
Darryl H. Smith.
Relatives and friends may call at the Chase
Funeral Home 173 Main Street Schaghticoke, Sunday from 2 – 5 PM..
a funeral service will be held at 5:00
PM with the Rev. Clyde McCaskill officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the
American Cancer Society 260 Osborne Avenue, Albany, NY, 12211 in
his memory.
