Mechanicville, N.Y., died Sunday, November 16, 2008 at the Maplewood Manor
Nursing Home in Ballston Spa embraced by her loving family.
Born in Bemis Heights, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late John and Catherine Luta Yanchunis and wife of the late Bohdan Partak.
Helen was a lifelong resident of the Mechanicville Stillwater area and graduated from Mechanicville High School. She was employed as a looper with the former Ballston Knitting Mill in Stillwater and later retired from General Electric in Niskayuna. Helen was a communicant of Assumption/St. Paul's Church in Mechanicville and member of the Ladies Rosary Society. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of American and was Past Grand Regent. She was also a member of the Mechanicville/ Stillwater Elks Ladies Auxiliary, Senior Citizens and the American Legion Lefko Post Ladies Auxiliary.
Helen is survived by her devoted sons and their wives, Ronald J. and Margo of Stillwater and Robert J. and Judith of Clifton Park; cherished grand-children, Lisa Giles, Christopher and Megan Partak and Sarah Baker; adored great-grandchildren, Parker, Kevin and Connor; siblings, Jennie Mickalonis of Mechanicville and Joseph Yanchunis of Tampa Fla.; sister-in-law, Alice Cross of Cohoes; and several nieces and nephews.

Dunn Funeral Homes,
Inc. 319 Park Avenue, Mechanicville
on Thursday at 8:30. Mass of Christian Burial from
Assumption/St. Paul's Church at 9 o'clock. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery,
Mechanicville. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Dunn
Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
