I'm so sorry to hear about your
Donny. He was my father's (Edward Clothier) best friend when they were young
men. I had been in correspondence with him recently, and he always told me how
much he loved my father. Donny had a sweet heart. It was hard for me to here the
news. I know he's been going through a lot. Please feel free to contact me. I'd
like to help add his information to the race car drivers memorial site.
My father was the one whom got him into racing. You may remember my dad. He died
in a race at Westboro Speedway in 1965.
Donny was always kind to me as a child. I'll always remember that. I wish I
could have done more to help him.
My condolences to all of you. He spoke of you with love.
